Eckpack is an intelligent and environmently friendly re-usable packaging solution for finished PV modules. Our plastic corners directly replace the cardboard or wooden packages still used by many module manufacturers and are a very simple and efficient solution: the corners fit exactly into the aluminium module frame, taking the complete load off of the module and preventing any shifting or other transport damages.

In a stack of modules packaged with Eckpack corners, all the vertical load is carried only by the corners. The lower modules do not have to sustain the modules on top of them anymore. Each module simply carries its own weight. Our new Eckpack corners allow vertical and horizontal stacking without compromising stability of the stack.
The packaging density of the modules can be greatly increased (up to 32 modules on one pallet are easily achievable). Obvious benefits are a reduction of warehouse space, storage costs, shipping costs and CO2 emissions during transport.

The packaging time at your factory is greatly reduced, and can easily be automated using a robot, thus further reducing packaging time and cost. Likewise, unpacking the modules at the installation site becomes a lot faster and easier.

The plastic corners are reusable. As a service to you, Eckpack collects them directly at the installation site, and re-uses them after inspection. This results in a tremendous waste reduction as compared to cardboard and wooden packaging, showing your environmental responsibility and reducing your packaging cost. Eckpack is manufactured with approved, fully recycling capable and non-polluting (PPT) materials.
